LIS Database Administrator
Position Summary:
The function of the Database Administrator is to ensure the integrity and availability of the business' database so all active applications are proper functioning. The Database Administrator has experience in development and administration and works to ensure the requirements of the business are met through troubleshooting the technical logic.
Essential Duties:
Maintain database servers and monitor for issues
Create, maintain and troubleshoot database code
Create, maintain and troubleshoot database automation tasks
Troubleshoot vendor applications
Configure database server
Create data reports with formats including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
Maintain and update data warehouse
Creating custom processes for projects, per request
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical skills
Works well independently
Robust troubleshooting skills
Ability to create clear & concise documentation of procedures
Understands SQL (Structured Query Language)
Microsoft SQL Server administration & development
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor of Information Technology
8+ years of experience as Database Administrator/Developer
